SKIP funding
SKIP has funding available to support community action on parenting.
On this Page:
Does your group have a vision for change in your community that will help parents build great relationships with their kids? Read the criteria, give us a call to talk through your ideas and fill out the SKIP Ideas Form. You can send it in at any time – there is no closing date.
If you are asking for up to $10,000 your application will be considered against SKIP’s criteria and we’ll get back to you with an answer soon.
If you are seeking more than $10,000 there is a two-stage process. Your application will be checked against the criteria. You may then be asked to fill out a full proposal before a decision is made.
Criteria
SKIP supports community action that leads to wider social change through:
- Focusing on parents/caregivers of 0-5s
- Intentional involvement of parents/caregivers who are not otherwise accessing parenting support
- Action that will result in parents/caregivers who are:
- ready, willing and able to use positive discipline
- able to provide the emotional foundation children need to grow up to be happy capable adults by using the SKIP six principles
- able to manage their own stress.
SKIP funding is not for one to one service delivery, home visiting or ongoing service delivery.
